Which makes it all the more remarkable that Streisand is able to establish such a comfortable, intimate rapport with this adoring hometown (N.Y.C.) crowd the moment she swoops in singing \"As If We Never Said Goodbye\" from SUNSET BOULEVARD.\n\u003cbr\u003eAfter nearly 35 years in show business, Streisand's voice remains a lovely instrument. So along with the autobiographical song-intros and liberal politics, we are also treated to superbly sung renditions of \"People,\" \"Evergreen\" and \"The Way We Were\" as well as \"Can't Help Lovin That Man\" and a stirring \"The Man That Got Away\" dedicated to Judy Garland.
