Love Vinyl is a brick & mortar shop located in the heart of Schenectady NY! The shop features a large selection of new & used vinyl, CDs, cassettes, accessories, and equipment. There is wide variety of genres providing a great music digging experience for any type of music fan. We also take special orders and pre-orders so feel free to ping us with your desired titles! The store is run by a group of music enthusiasts across the music spectrum. We are here to offer you suggestions or answer and questions you may have, to the best of our knowledge or research.
Some standout elements to the store would be the electronic music selection from experimental, ambient, downtempo, and all forms of dance music for DJs and connoisseurs. We also specialize in limited edition vinyl from all genres as well as rare well taken care of, used, originals. We host listening parties for upcoming releases and broadcast on a nice clean and bodied sound system for a good take. 
All in all we pride in being a well rounded shop covering a lot of ground in a curated way so that we have something for everyone. We are very passionate about this business and the culture it promotes. Music is the greatest voice of our times and we are honored to serve it to you.

PRE-ORDERS/PRESALE: Stocked as soon as possible and shipped as soon as the stock is received. If you are curious about the time frame of your pre-order shipping, you may send us a message for an ETA. Most pre-order items should have a date listed in the description stating when it will be released.

If you pre-order items along with in-stock items, please note that your entire order will ship together when all items are available. To receive your in-stock items sooner, we recommend placing separate orders. Often times presale dates will change and we do our best to keep these dates accurate but they are not always right up to date - feel free to inquire!

SPECIAL ORDERS: Send us your wishlists and pre-order requests. With the abundant amount of available records out there, it is impossible for us to stock it all, but we can likely get you anything you are looking for so long as it is not out of print. Just drop us a message with any requests you may have.

Condition Ratings:

NOTE: Every title includes condition ratings - The first rating pertains to the physical media, the second grade pertains to the sleeve. If there is no condition rating mentioned you can presume it to be Mint/Mint.

MINT: Perfect, brand new, un-played.

NM (Near Mint): Like new, barely played, will play perfectly.

EX (Excellent): Very close to near mint, but shows a bit more cosmetic wear than a near mint record. Will play perfectly.

VG+ (Very Good Plus): May have light cosmetic only blemishes that will not affect play, should play without any overpowering noise, close to perfect, if not.

VG (Very Good): Will have some light marks that may cause some light noise during playback. Should still be enjoyable and play good to great.

G+ (Good Plus): Will have some significant noise during playback. Only records of collector value will be listed at this grade. You may want to find a better copy if you want it for listening. Nothing lower than this grade will be listed unless it is a collectible.


SLEEVE DETAILS:

PHOTOS ACTUAL: This indicates that the featured photo is an original photo of the exact item you will receive.

PHOTOS NOT ACTUAL: This indicates that the featured photo is taken from the web and is not exact, though it may be just about the same.
