A live recording of a jazz workshop held in 1970.
It is a performance that pursues expression of individuality and group conception and possibility of group improvisation centered on three saxophonists, Takeru Muraoka, Mototeru Takagi, and Hisashi Kato.
On one side is an improvisational performance by the duo of Takagi and Sabu Toyozumi, and on the other side is a heavy group of tentates (Masahiko Sato, Hiromasa Suzuki, George Otsuka, etc.) composed, arranged and conducted by Masaaki Kikuchi. Includes improvisation.
This is the most important and rare work in the history of free jazz in Japan.
