The album launches with a dark, reimagined take on The Weeknd's global hit "Blinding Lights," transforming it's iconic melody with icy synths, stuttering percussion, and searing lead guitar. Across the album, A Killer's Confession blend crushing heaviness, electronics, groove, and cinematic storytelling to explore the final moments of a murderer facing his inevitable fate. From the menacing groove of "Meat Hook" and the unrelenting opener "The One" to the haunting finale "Worth Saving," Victim 3 completes the story with a character who ultimately recognizes there is no redemption left. More than a concept album, Victim 3 reflects vocalist Waylon Reavis' long-standing commitment to storytelling and exploring the darker corners of the human experience. "This is an art project of storytelling and madness," Reavis explains. "It's a collection of stories from different individuals in separate time periods with their own agendas. For me, it's a big passion project. It gave me purpose. It gave me youth. It gave me fire. It gave me a universe."
