Following the release of critically acclaimed debut album “What Do You Mean Its Not Raining” which hit no.20 in the UK album chart - Afflecks Palace are back with their sophomore LP “The Only Light In This Tunnel Is The Oncoming Train” set for release on April 7th, 2023 (in vinyl & CD formats).Produced by J. Fender, Afflecks Palace vocalist and Spirit Of Spike Island label boss said “This album is an ode to escapism from the modern day obsession with superficial status, wealth and success - propelled by social media F.O.M.O (fear of missing out)”.Following 3 self-booked tours which saw Afflecks Palace sell out iconic venues such as King Tuts (Glasgow), Manchester Academy 2 & Rescue Rooms (Nottingham) via word of mouth interest, the group will tour in February 2023 with support from label-mates; Pastel.They will perform at the BBC 6 Music Festival in Manchester, followed by a run of UK festival shows including TRNSMT, Isle Of Wight, Live At Leeds, Beautiful Days & more
