Along with Dave Koz and Gerald Albright, Boney James has carved out a nice niche for himself as one of the most popular smooth jazz saxophonists ever. Now, Mr. James has gone and done a concept album, with the (eternal) concept being Valentine's Day love. His melodious, suave sax playing brings out the amorous best in choice selections by Barry White, Stevie Wonder, and James Taylor, whose "Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight" features singer R&B singer Quinn, something of a Boney James discovery.
