Formed in 1984, Candlemass helped define the epic doom metal genre with their towering riffs and theatrical grandeur, joining the ranks of doom icons alongside Pentagram, Saint Vitus, and Trouble. This release captures the powerful resurgence of the band during their 2004 reunion and celebrates the enduring impact of their genre-defining legacy.
