Flaneurecordings regular Oliver Marquart returns with his third solo EP for the Berlin-based imprint, bringing with him a trio of highly classy deep house gems. Our pick of a very strong bunch is A-side 'Keep Your Heart Open', a hazy, dubbed-out chunk of bass-heavy deep house hypnotism topped off by echoing melodic motifs, dreamy textures and what sounds like a Barry White spoken word vocal. Marquardt opts for a lighter-touch and more emotive sound on 'Love is Nothing To Be Scared Of', a cut marked out by an extended, spine-tingling ambient breakdown, before immersing us in tactile, jazz-flecked early morning deep house waters on the simply gorgeous 'Walking Through Eternity'.
