Description

Countdown's Comin'! Raleigh's rockin' Countdown Quartet kicks out an exciting, full-energy blast of R&B, 50's styled rock n roll, New Orleans' jazz with a whole lotta soul and deep grooves. Fronted by vocalist and trombonist, David Wright and upright bassist vocalist Steve Grothman (Steve and David were both in Tonebenders), the band also includes Jimbo Mathis (Squirrel Nut Zippers) on guitar, Ted Zarras on drums and Tim Smith (J'Azure).
