Dynamite Masters Blues Quartet are back, with Keenly, their 13th album since 1989, and first one over a decade. This time, the band used vintage mics, analog tech, and lots of amps to record themselves live, in tribute to the old-school hard rock that is their lifeblood. This reflects the inspiration of nature as well — wind, water, sky, wild animals and human beings are all essential forces to them. DMBQ attempt to bring a great noise of natural sound into the world, playing with respect to the masters of rock, but also pushing beyond into places of abstraction, drone and freedom. It rocks transcendentally - play it LOUD!
