The debut double album by The Dublin Drag Orchestra presents elegant, moving and virtuosic interpretations of rarely performed early English baroque music celebrating the human heart along with a musical tribute to the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. Motion of the Heart features a selection of rarely performed airs, duets, choruses and instrumental music from 17th century England by the great composers of the early English Baroque including Dowland, Lawes and Ward. The album celebrates and glorifies the human heart and the pain and pleasures of love.
