Restored from the original 1976 analogue master tapes, this 50th Anniversary archival release is the definitive edition of the original Sad Wings of Destiny. Produced in cooperation with Judas Priest, this Original 1976 Masters edition was newly remastered to preserve the power, warmth, and dynamic range of the original recordings while revealing exceptional clarity and detail. Presented in the band's intended running order beginning with "Prelude," this CD also includes the bonus track "Diamonds and Rust," recorded during the Sad Wings of Destiny sessions.
