Description

Tedeschi Trucks Band & Leon Russell – Mad Dogs & Englishmen Revisited (2LP Vinyl)
A powerful tribute to a rock & soul milestone.
Mad Dogs & Englishmen Revisited celebrates the iconic 1970 tour and album originally led by Joe Cocker and Leon Russell, reimagined in 2015 by the Tedeschi Trucks Band at the LOCKN’ Festival. Fronted by Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi, this special performance brought together original Mad Dogs alumni and guest stars including Chris Robinson and Warren Haynes, forming a 20+ member ensemble that paid homage to the past while electrifying it with new life.

With bold renditions of classics like “The Letter,” “Let’s Go Get Stoned,” and “With a Little Help From My Friends,” TTB channels the spirit of the original while delivering their signature blend of Southern soul, blues, and rock. This unforgettable live set captures the joy, scale, and communal energy of one of rock’s most legendary collaborations—revived for a new generation.
