Artificial Red has a tape issue, or clogged playback head, starting at 4:58 where the high frequencies really drop off around 10 - 15 dB, and continues to the end of the song. I don't know if this was corrected. The LP and 44.1/24 bit PCM versions also have the same issue. This defect isn't on the original 1995 CD release. I caught this issue right after this set came out, and alerted Joe Gastwirt to the issue; he admitted that he, the band, band management, and the QC people all missed it.

This is recommended listening. Definitely need the extras included on this set. The Music On Vinyl reissue excellent reviews. One problem is the disc pouch holders a very tight and difficult resulting in marked up discs.

Love this deluxe edition but why do they have to put it in these ginormous boxes. i have to have it tilted sideways to fit in my CD shelf. other than that a fantastic release

This has original album remastered, bonus tracks, 2 full live concerts on DVD, live self pollution songs and a music video. If you are a Maybe Staley fan you'll like this package
