Description

The first-ever domestic release of Big Tobacco, the Joe Pernice solo disc, which also features most of the Pernice Borthers. Joe Pernice is well known for his work with The Scud Mountain Boys (Sub Pop) and The Pernice Brothers, whose The WOrld Won't End continues to sell. National media campaign is in progress, and the next stretch of touring begins October 1. Other guests include Mike Daly (Whiskeytown), David Reid (Sea Of Cortez), Gordon Zacharias (Fan Modine), Matt Hunter (New Radiant Storm King), Anne Viebig (Tappan Zee), and Jeremy Smith (New Harmful). Released initially in Japan, Ireland, Australia and elsewhere in Europe on various labels in 2000, Big Tobacco generated critical accalim in all of those locations.

  • Near Mint (NM): Like new, barely played, will play perfectly.
  • Excellent (EX): Very close to near mint, with minor cosmetic wear. Will play perfectly.
  • Very Good Plus (VG+): Light cosmetic blemishes that do not affect play. Close to perfect playback.
  • Very Good (VG): Some light marks that may cause minor noise during playback. Still enjoyable and plays well.
  • Good Plus (G+): Noticeable noise during playback. Only listed if of collector value. Not ideal for listening.
