Released in April of 1974, Skin Tight was the fifth album released by Dayton, Ohio natives, The Ohio Players, and their first of a series of three consecutive albums to be certified platinum. This was also their first album released on Mercury Records. Skin Tight includes the song "Heaven Must Be Like This," which was later notably covered by D'Angelo for the Down in the Delta film soundtrack. R.E.M. performed "Skin Tight" on their Green tour in 1989. Limited Edition 140g Virgin Vinyl in Gatefold Jacket.
