The self-titled debut from Sister Double Happiness is a combustive masterpiece of San Francisco alternative rock. Fronted by the legendary Gary Floyd (The Dicks), the band fuses the raw aggression of punk with deep, soulful blues and heavy, psychedelic riffs.
Originally released in 1988, this album captures the quartet at their most ferocious, bridging the gap between the underground punk scene and the emerging grunge sound. With Floyd's powerhouse vocals and Ben Cohen's searing guitar work, this record is a gritty, emotional tour de force. With a bonus disc of early demos and Jack Endino demo's. The extra disc provides an inside look at the genesis and growth of the band.
