Ramses Shaffy is one of the greatest and most beloved chansonnier that the Netherlands has ever known. His music touches generations and remains vibrant to this day. The compilation album ''Laat Me'' brings together his most iconic songs, including the unforgettable title track ''Laat me,'' but also classics such as ''Sammy,'' ''Zing, Vecht, Huil, Bid, Lach, Werk en Bewonder,'' and the enchanting ''Pastorale'' with Liesbeth List.

Although Ramses passed away in 2009 at the age of 76, his legacy continues to grow. From March 10th, NPO2 will broadcast the new Avrotros program Een Schat Aan Shaffy, in which Chris Zegers, together with artists such as Claudia de Breij, Akwasi, Marlijn Weerdenburg and Karsu, delves back into his world. And that's not all: in 2026, Maarten Heijmans and Cor Bakker will tour the country with their theater show Ramses enzo!, in which they perform his songs and share unique anecdotes that you won't hear anywhere else.

Laat Me is available as a limited edition on white vinyl and includes liner notes.
