John Campbell was a genius, an innovator, a one of a kind blues sensation. He plays vintage Gibson and National guitars, moreover he plays like no one, and no one can play like him. Powerful vocals and fiery guitar playing; John Campbell had the potential of turning a whole new generation of people onto the blues in the 90s, much the same way Stevie Ray Vaughan did in the 80s. All of that con be heard in this "2 meter Sessions" release, in spectacular sound. A monster album to be savored and treasured for a long, long time.
