We're 30 years on from the mix that took progressive house out of the DJ booth and into long-form storytelling. Sasha and John Digweed's Northern Exposure now sees a remastered, original-faithful re-press on vinyl, and it's well worthy of the Late Night Tales reproduction too, predicting that label's narrative approach to the art of the DJ mix. The remaster restores both the North and South journeys in full, where disc three is the flashpoint: an entirely new ambient/dub reconstruction, pitched somewhere between Bill Laswell and Mad Professor. Also new to this version: Darren Emerson's 2026 remake of 'Dark And Long' closes the South mix
