Description

Omar Sosa collaboration with Venezuelan percussionist Gustavo Ovalles, showcasing their inspired musical chemistry and creativity. Recorded at Motion Blue in Yokohama, Japan, the intimate Duo setting allows Sosa to exult freely and passionately at the piano, moving freely from intense groove patterns to delicate, balladic modes of expression. Gustavo plays an array of Venezuelan folkloric percussion instruments, including quitiplas and culo'e puya, as well as congas, bongo, maracas, guiro, snare and cymbals.
