Description

Nine months before they shot into the national top ten with “Little Girl” the Syndicate of Sound lugged a Webcor reel-to-reel tape recorder down to their September, 1965 show at the Silver Dollar Saloon in San Jose’s Frontier Village on Monterey Highway and recorded their live set. While their San Jose contemporaries were still learning their instruments, the Syndicate were already wily music veterans, as these cool covers of Stones’ and Kinks’ classics readily reveals.
