Description

For those of you who don't know, Orlando's Tabitha's Secret was the pre-signed version of now-megastars Matchbox 20. But a few short years ago, they were playing with a slightly different lineup around Orlando, opening up for Letters To Cleo and other bands. Then some legal stuff happened, two members were out of the band, two more were in, and Matchbox 20 went on to sell millions of records. Anyway, fast forward to last year, and the remaining members of Tabitha's Secret, (which now has a new lineup) release DON'T PLAY WITH MATCHES, which is ... all OLD songs from the early Tabitha's days. So what we have is 12 songs that were written by Rob Thomas, Paul Doucette, Brian Yale, (they of Matchbox20) John Stanley, and John Goff (they of Tabitha's Secret). The songs were recorded from '94 - '96, the first five from the Tabitha's Secret tape that was sold at their gigs, and the other seven from other sessions (Including 2 versions of 3 AM, the only Tabitha's Secret song to become a Matchbox song.)   • Excellent (EX): Very close to near mint, with minor cosmetic wear. Will play perfectly.
  • Very Good Plus (VG+): Light cosmetic blemishes that do not affect play. Close to perfect playback.
  • Very Good (VG): Some light marks that may cause minor noise during playback. Still enjoyable and plays well.
  • Good Plus (G+): Noticeable noise during playback. Only listed if of collector value. Not ideal for listening.
