Dennis Bovell is a producer, musician, and engineer who is an indispensable part of the history of British reggae. In 2008, P Vine compiled a collection of Dennis' master recordings under the title "Rebirth of British Reggae" and released it on vinyl for the first time. Marie Pierre's version of the Young Rascals' classic "Groovin'," which has been covered by numerous musicians including Marvin Gaye and Aretha Franklin, was released as a 7-inch single on P-VINE in 2021 and sold out immediately. This is a supreme compilation album with plenty of sound sources that reggae fans will not be able to resist.
