As The United States celebrates it's Semi-quincentennial Anniversary this year, the band set out to honor the grit, sacrifice, and everyday strength that define this country with the release of their first concept album, Spirit of America. Arriving in June, the project looks back to the sounds and stories that shaped generations, featuring songs listeners may have grown up with alongside a selection of new originals designed to stand the test of time. Spirit Of America includes two originals written specifically for the project: "Good Ol' USA," penned by Kody Norris and Grand Ole Opry performer Larry Chunn, and "United We Stand," written by Mary Rachel Nalley-Norris and Conrad Fisher. It also marks a milestone for the group with the debut of Mary Rachel Nalley-Norris's first-ever instrumental composition, "Declaration of Independence," adding a distinctive and personal dimension to this celebration of American spirit and bluegrass tradition.
